Certificate/Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies

The most popular online e-learning course to study terrorism and the responses to terrorism from the Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTPV) at the University of St Andrews, in partnership with IBC Academy.

If it's part of your responsibility to protect people, infrastructure, organisations or investments, understanding the threat is key - whether this is to governments and homeland security, transport networks, investments, private organisations or to the public. Understandingthis threat involves knowing who is involved, how and why they act and their capacity to inflict harm. The Terrorism Studies programme addresses these needs via flexible study options from just a single module, through to four modules for the Certificate in Terrorism Studies or eight modules for the Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies. The course delivers knowledge that is so essential to practitioners and scholars in understanding and ultimately countering both international and domestic terrorism, jihadism and political violence.
